About Us

Professional Property Management, Personalized for You!

American Property Management of Illinois, Inc. provides a range of management services to Condominium/Town Home/Homeowners Associations, and owners of individual residences and commercial properties in the suburbs of Chicago. With more than 30 years experience managing properties, APM has the industry know-how that only comes from hands-on involvement. We put that experience to work everyday for our Associations and property owners, doing the leg work, following up on details, making recommendations and keeping the lines of communication and cooperation open at all times.

For all APM employees, delivering “Professional Property Management, Personalized for You” is more than a slogan. It’s the heart of our business and the basis for our successful relationships with clients, customers, Board members, homeowners, vendors, tenants and each other.

Where We Began

Founded in 1979, APM started out managing individual homes, condominiums, and town homes for investors. The business soon expanded to provide customized service programs for Community Associations. Today APM manages more than eighty Condominium, Town Home, and Homeowner Associations, and over 100 individual properties for investors.

Our knowledge and experience are reflected in our ability to maintain long term relationships with all our clients. In fact, we still manage our very first client, a Condominium Association located in Schaumburg.
